Recently, i have fallen in love with nut cups. They serve as a perfect little world for reindeer, winter children, pilgrims, pudgy turkeys and their gardens of shrooms, posies and roses. I've been having so much fun transforming these simple nut cups into cups of vintage love! These will be for sale exclusively at Silver Bella in November!
I'm in nut cup heaven over here!!!
Hubby and i celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday. He is sooooo sweet. He had football practice alllll day on his birthday and we quickly cleaned up for a special dinner, just the 2 of us. I love him so much. Happy Birthday baby!!
Next week is the beginning of everything...work at the elementary school is back in session and the new fall semester at Chapman with 4 classes...and i'm scared, frightened, nervous, anxious, excited, bewildered, shocked...you get the picture. I also retake the math/science section of the CSET on 9/11...and i have NOT been studying. How can i study with all of that glitter and ribbon laying around!!! I need to buckle down and get serious though because i will literally die if i don't pass it again. Just 4 points people!! Still chewing that bitterment gum, y'all.
Here's to a fresh start this fall! I hope you all are cramming in some last chance fun before your busy season starts. :-)
Wow, love these!!! You should make some Halloween ones:) So cute!!!

Going nuts for your ever so cute nut cups. They are just awesome. I don't blame you for being so distracted. I wish you luck on your retake.

Pardon my dumb question, but what are nut cups and where do you get them?

Hi Kathy! Nut cups are used for Parties or maybe holiday dinners. You can put party treats (candies or nuts) in them for your guests. I kind of ditched that and made them into little decor pieces. You can find vintage nut cups at flea markets. Or make your own with cups and crepe paper and chenille stem handles!
