Layout Love

I got the chance to finish a few layouts on Saturday. I went and scrapped at Oasis with a few good friends for a few hours. So much fun. Oh and speaking of Oasis, did you know were only 8 spots left in my Halloween layout class as of Saturday? I can't believe it!

So, I am doing that Jenni Bowlin Guest Designer contest. I'm not too concerned about winning anything, i just wanted the excuse the buy this month's kit and take some time to do some layouts for me. It was fun! I am sending in 2 of the 3 layouts i did, so i will show you the third one that i'm not submitting for the contest. I used quite a few extra items in this layout...thickers, red ribbons, glittered flower, etc. It was really fun using the items in the kit. I especially like those sparkly Making Memories sticker letters. Mmmmm.

And then i did this layout using some of the new Cosmo Cricket patterns and a bunch of other fun and quirky items. It was fun using that crepe paper ribbon by Jenni Bowlin. Same stuff included in that August Rush Kit. I really like the dimension it adds to the page...all crunched up. :-)

This is one of my most favorite pictures on my husband when he was little. SO cute. I'm on a roll...more layouts to share with you all tomorrow!
