My Tiny Annie

I have been so busy today. Just one of those non-stop days where it's hard to put a complete sentence together because i've got so many thoughts running through my head. But i had a moment today...i was crazily trying to beat the clock today...and i just stopped, looked up and smiled. Why you ask? Well i was just so thankful to be doing what i was doing. I can't even imagine working anywhere but in my pink space...and with so many delightful decorations staring back at me...

...which brings me to my point. Look at this sweet little Annie that Nicole from Raggedy Old Annies made me!!! She smells so good...if you've never purchased one of Nicole's Annies before, you're probably wondering what they smell like. Well, she smells like maple syrup, vanilla extract and i don't know what...but i do know it must be what heaven smells like! And i just can't get enough of her red and white striped legs!!

You may also remember this fabulous Annie i purchased back in October from Nicole.

Nicole - you are just the sweetest! Thank you so much for surprising me with this darling little one. She is happy on her shelf next to my 2 favorite spools of tulle...she watches over me while i pack up goodies and i know i catch her winking at me every now and then. She is ADORABLE! Thank you and i HAVE TO meet up with you again soon.

I am so in love with these Annies...i'm going to ask Nicole to make a custom Peacoats and Party Hats Annie! Can you see what i'm seeing? Pink and red galore! I better run this by Nicole before i blab too much about it! lol!

Alright...i'm starving...my hubby just walked in the door...every room in the house except for my studio is a wreck (funny how i prioritize my organization and cleaning in my house)...I've got kits to finish up...and the phone is ringing. Something tells me i should go...

Vintage Spool Family

I am so crazy busy this week...but i just can't wait to share some of my most recent gifts i've received from some of the most fabulous people i know. I will be sharing them today through Friday so come back to see more.

Today, i would like to introduce you to the sweetest little glowing spool family i've ever seen! Missy from Crafty Carnival made these for me and brought them with her to my class last weekend at Ever After! I about died when i opened the box and found these sweet little spool people amoungst the crinkled pink packing. They now adorn one of my shelves in my studio...and they just look so at home, don't they! My absolute fav is the gal with the green hair and red thread outfit. She is sassy, that's for sure.

Missy - i can't thank you enough!! It was soooo FAB meeting you. LOVED your quirky pink glasses! I sure hope to see you again soon. People, if you don't already frequent this girl's blog...then you need to start. She creates the sweetest plush pieces and i know you will have her on your favorites for sure.

And, stay tuned tomorrow because i have yet another AMAZING creation to share with you. "She" is hiding in this beautiful mess somewhere...

I am just finishing up the organization of my studio...prepping for the opening of P&PH on March 15th. This colorful corner is packaging central. I've got my red tissue paper and "sophie seals" ready to go along with my personalized Peacoats and Party Hats ribbon...turquoise crinckled paper and clear cellophane bags ready to be filled...and my secret gift included in each shipment is on it's way to me as we speak. Oh i am getting SO SO SOOO excited!

...and one more thing to notice...my cat has a cat bed...she sleeps in it when it gets cold, but that's about it. Every other moment of the day, you can find her sitting here on one of my studio chairs...and she is garunteed to be there especially i need to be there too. Always in the way, this one. By the way, i took these photos HOURS ago. She is still there. I just checked to make sure she's breathing. Yep, this is a genuine cat nap. Golly i wish that were me sometimes!

Creativity in Bloom!

I still want to post about my FAB day of classes at EA!! But...i am soooo busy preparing for the Lucky Girl class...and getting all of these yummy Easter banner and Bloomin Layouts kits in the mail...i am just too pooped by the end of the day! I am so happy to be filling orders and making kits...just a wonderful feeling. I hope you all enjoy your kits when you receive them! Today was amazing!

I don't feel worthy! I had such a blast today with all of my new and old friends. We started out giggling and creating layouts and finished the day gushing over our vintage easter banners...all while snacking away on some DELICIOUS cupcakes. Were those cupcakes not the best???!!!! I can't wait to share with you some seeerrriiiooouuusssllly adorable gifts i received...sooo so cute. Like i said, i am not worthy!! Thank you all so much for such a fabulous day. And thank you Camille and staff at Ever After for making me feel so welcome! I had SUCH a great time. :-)

Be back tomorrow with some pics. I'm off to watch tv for the night. I LOVE quiet Saturday nights at home, especially after a perfect day with friends. TTFN

sweet tooth

Well, i may just have to break my diet this weekend...because i just found out that momma is making these. And let me tell you something...i can actually say with full confidence that these cupcakes are the best, most unique, super rich and delicious cupcakes i've ever had! Can't wait to share them. :-)

And, on another note...i have a supply list for next weekend's class, Lucky Girl Mini Book:

Supply List:
12" paper trimmer
straight edges scissors
paper/photo adhesive
mini glue dots
liquid glue for crystals and glitter
3-d foam adhesive dots/squares
black journal pen
embroidery needle
sand paper

This mini book is dedicated to things and people currently in my life which i am thankful for...why i consider myself a lucky girl. If you would like to do the same with your mini book, i recommend you create 8-10 reasons with photos for each reason. I developed all of my photos in black and white so i could stay within the red, black and pink color scheme with the exception of 1 photo that matched in color. All of my photos are either 4x6 or wallet size. You do not have to bring photos with you to the class, but i find it is much easier to finish the embellishing process if you already have your photos placed where you'd like them. You can certainly just bring just a few photos/reasons you consider yourself lucky to get started with.

Supply Lists for This Weekend!!

I have got to go to bed...but before i do i need to post the supply lists for this weekend at Ever After. I am so excited! In fact, tomorrow i am going treasure hunting for a little certain something for each person that attends the class. Yup. You all are in for a treat...or two. :-) I hear there are still  spots available in both classes so if you'd like to sign up nows your chance! And the Easter Banner kit is sold out on the website so attending the class is the only way to get your hands on one of those tasty kits. :-)

Vintage Easter Banner Class
Supplies you will need to create this banner: Straight edge scissors, precision scissors for detailed cutting (optional), paper/photo adhesive, glue dots, strong liquid adhesive for crystals and glitter, 3-d foam adhesive dots/squares and sand paper.

Bloomin' Layouts Class
Supplies you will need to create these 3 layouts: 12 inch paper trimmer, straight edge scissors, pinking shears (optional), paper/photo adhesive, glue dots, liquid adhesive for crystals and felt, 3-d foam adhesive dots/squares, stapler, pencil with new eraser tip, sand paper (optional) and an embroidery needle.

Artist Market at Paris to the Moon!

I am so excited to announce that i will be a vendor at the Artist Market at Paris to the Moon in Costa Mesa on March 15th! Mark your calendars...i better see you out there at 8am with all the other hungry art lovers!! I can't wait to see what the other vendors have to offer!

And yes, March 15th is the Peacoats and Party Hats Grand Opening too...it will be one fabulously busy day. I'm calling in my back-up (my mom). :-)

  Thank you so much to those that have already purchased this kit! I am having so much fun putting all the little treasures in baggies and cutting all of this divine ribbon. Such a beautiful mess i have to stare at today. :-) I added the finishing touches to the website listing and i wanted to share the larger images here on the blog too.

Hey there blog readers! The last couple of days have been so fun...my mind is just swirling with ideas that i can't wait to execute. I finally got around to taking some more photos of the Lucky Girl Mini Book that i will be teaching at The Red Bee on March 2nd. I am going to bind it all together tonight and have it on display at the store starting this weekend. I will post more photos tomorrow...and for you out-of-towners i may be listing the kit for pre-sale in P&PH tonight or tomorrow. Keep an eye out!

I'm off to place some fabulous orders from vendors i saw this week at CHA. I can't wait to get the product and play! TGIF!

I'm so very tired.

And i don't have much to share other than CHA was FABULOUS! I was a baaaadd girl and i didn't take any pictures! But it was so nice to just walk and think and create in my head. I have SO many great idea for project kits...some are already in motion! Just need a few days to sit and create and "de-tradeshow". And i didn't go tot he gym for 4 days and i need some time to myself...for myself. So, i'm going to workout, cook dinner and create all night. :-)
